Small language school - informal atmosphere
El Molinero is a small language school where you can take group lessons or individual Dutch lessons at all levels in an informal atmosphere.
Target audience are highly educated non-native speakers who master English. The starting point is grammar. The pace is high and you are expected to be independent in doing homework and practicing online.
What suits you the best
Individual lessons
Individual lessons are generally during the day and you can start whenever you want. You also choose the number of hours you receive lessons per week. You can take the
lessons both on location and online.

Groups lessons
Group lessons mainly take place in the evenings and usually last 1.5 hours. The group lessons are in Alkmaar. If you cannot come to the location because you are staying abroad, for example, you can take the class online.
Intensive trainings
Intensive training sessions consist of several consecutive days on which you have lessons for 4, 5 or 6 hours per day. These are basically individual lessons. In consultation, the lessons can also be taken as duo lessons or small group lessons. After the intensive training, you can, if you wish, continue the lessons as a group lesson or individually.
A1 - breakthrough
Don’t expect to be able to have full conversations, but with a little help you can answer simple questions.
A2 - waystage
You are a basic user of the language. You can already handle Dutch quite well in everyday situations. You need less and less help.
B1 - threshold
You are already well on your way to becoming an independent user of the language. You still make mistakes, but not so disruptive that others do not understand what you mean.
B2 - vantage
You are an independent user of the language. You understand the main idea of a complex text including technical discussions in your own field and respond fluently and
spontaneously in normal communication with native speakers. You can write detailed texts on a wide range of topics and present a point of view on current issues and discuss the pros and cons of different options.

C1 - Effective proficiency
You have a large vocabulary and you are be able to use the language flexibly and efficiently.
C2 - Mastery
You can effortlessly understand everything you hear or read and you can express yourself spontaneously and very fluently, precisely and nuanced, even in complex situations.
Integration exam (inburgeringsexamen)
To integrate you need level B1, if you want to work at a Dutch company where the working language is Dutch or if you want to study at university, you need at least level B2
